Opportunities for Giving

For more than 55 years, the kindness and generosity of donors to Oklahoma Methodist Manor has enabled the organization to achieve its mission. Donors help the organization through a wide array of giving methods:

  • Cash or stocks
  • Credit Card or Electronic Funds Transfer (Recurring or one-time)
  • Company Employee Matching Gifts
  • Life Insurance
  • Real Estate
  • Bequests through Will or Trusts
  • Tribute or Memorial Donations

Annual Giving

The Manor’s annual campaign funds programs and services that help OMM maintain its leadership position with exceptional service and innovative practices for senior adults. This fund offers donors the opportunity to make direct gifts to support important areas of need. These gifts support the programs that allow Members to enjoy physical, spiritual and emotional wellness that enhances quality of life. Specific program areas include:

  • Supplemental Aid Fund - This program addresses the needs of current and future Members of the Health Center who have outlived their financial resources. Subsidies to Members bridge the gap of expenses not covered by government reimbursement (Medicaid).
  • Designated Capital Improvements - contributions are earmarked for specific facility upgrades, maintenance, purchase of equipment and vehicles, or improvements to assure the health and safety of Members.
  • Employee Appreciation and Emergency Need Fund - Donations allow The Manor to train, reward and support The Manor’s employees. This support helps ensure high quality services and care for every Member.
  • Tribute and Memorial Gifts - The tribute and memorial gift program provides a way to remember loved ones or to pay tribute to special people by making a donation in their name. These gifts can be directed to a specific fund or used for the greatest needs of The Manor. Gifts are noted with a thank you acknowledgement, indicating the amount of contribution. Notification will be offered, with gift amount undisclosed, to whomever you request.

Planned Giving

Many of our friends have generously demonstrated their commitment to the mission and future of The Manor by way of a planned gift. Leaving a gift is a uniquely personal decision, but the steps are straightforward, and include;

  • Naming OMM as a beneficiary of a life insurance policy or retirement account
  • Receiving a lifetime income through a Charitable Gift Annuity*
  • Arranging for a gift through your will or trust as a defined dollar amount, a percentage of estate or remainder amount, or specific items of personal property.

As we plan for the future, it is helpful to be aware of forthcoming gifts. If you are interested in designating a planned gift or making a gift that may further your financial goals please contact the Executive Director or the Chief Financial Officer.
